When we have ?10?^3 (10 raise to the power 3), it means that we need to multiply 10 three times like
10 × 10 × 10 = 1000.
Similarly if we have 3^5 (3 raise to the power 5) , we can write simply as 3 ×3 ×3 ×3 ×3=243.
Power might be negative or fractional number, then it would be difficult to solve it.
By using indices we can write large numbers in a more simple way.
