Personal or Private Entry in Learnmet Calendar
Step 1: After you log in to Learnmet dashboard you need to click "My Calendar" tab of the navigation panel.
Step 2: The system will open your Dynamic Calendar page starting with current month view. You can switch to week or day view or navigate to other months using the blue buttons.
Point to note: Learnmet does not allow creating a Calendar event on a past date to keep it simple and less confusing.
Step 3: Left mouse click or touch on a current or future date of the calendar (1) system will show a popup form with event fields. Starting with Title of the event which will be displayed on the Calendar. (2) The system shows an optional drop-down list where you can select one of your Instructor-Led Courses, for a private calendar entry you should leave it blank. Click on the second drop-down menu and select private (3). Click drop-down menu of Start time and select the time (4), select the duration of the session (5). Type more about your session in the description field and click "SAVE" (6).
Step 4: Personal or Private Entry will reflect in the calendar. You are all set to get reminders for any of your personal event entries like, pick up kids, Go to the library, travel time etc. The idea is to let the system and others know that you are not available during these time slots to accept or conduct any Learnmet session. You can also use this for your reminders!. Isn't it handy?
Instructor Lead Session Entry in Learnmet Calendar: Description
Step 1: After you log in to Learnmet dashboard you need to make sure that you are logged in as a Teacher or you need to Switch Profile as a teacher.
Step 2: Click "My Calendar" tab of the navigation panel.
Step 3: Left click on any date of the calendar (1), the system will show a popup. Give a name of the Session entry (2), Select Instructor Lead Course, which you have already published in Learnmet's market place by clicking first optional drop-down (3). Click the second drop-down menu and select Public (4). Click drop-down menu of Start time and select the time (5), select the duration of the session (6). Provide a description (7) and click "SAVE".
Step 4: Instructor Lead Session Entry will reflect in the calendar.
Future Session Request and Acceptance in Learnmet Calendar
Step 1: Go to Learnmet home page, type teacher's name in the search field and hit enter.
Step 2: Click on Teacher's Profile Picture or Name, the system will redirect to the teacher's profile.
Step 3: Click on Teacher's Profile Picture or Name, the system will redirect to the teacher's profile. Click calendar icon below Profile picture to open Teacher's Calendar.
Step 4: Select Date and Time and fill valid entry to all the field for Future session request.
Step 5: Click "Request Session" button for the session request. A confirmation popup will come, click OK to continue.
Step 6: Check email inbox, for confirmation email sent by Learnmet. Please do not forget to check your spam folder as well, the email may land up in your spam folder sometimes unless you select the email and choose not a spam. We will never send spam emails.
Teacher's / Trainer's Part.
Step 1: Whenever a Future Session Request come, Learnmet system will send an email to the teacher's registered email to intimate teacher about Session Request. Check Inbox and/or Spam box. Click "Accept" button, it will redirect to the Teachers' calendar entry.
Step 2: Click on the request entry and click "Accept" button to accept the session request.
Step 3: A confirmation popup will come click OK to continue.
Step 4: Color of the entry will be Green from Orange.
Step 5: Both Teacher and Student will receive an email confirmation after Teacher accepts the session request. Student will receive a confirmation email along with Payment link. The student has to click the payment button to pay for the session.
Step 1: Payment button of the email link will redirect to the payment page of Learnmet Market Place, click the check box of Terms of Service and click "CONFIRM & PAY" button.
Step 2: Learnmet will redirect to the PayPal Payment gateway, pay through PayPal via Credit Card, Debit Card or other options, and continue the process.
Step 3: Payment process will redirect to the payment status page of Learnmet Marketplace.
Step 1: Learnmet will send a reminder email to both Teacher and Student before One Hour of the scheduled session.
Step 2: Learnmet will send Live session link to both Teacher and Student before Five Minutes of the Schedule Session.
